Cosmic baddies, it’s time to pour yourself a cup of ambition. The Capricorn Full Moon is here and she is bringing some good fortune, optimism and generosity from the Universe.
Full Moons are the culmination of a cycle so this is a great time to look back and reflect at the seeds you planted during the New Moon in Capricorn (January 12) and see how they’ve bloomed or blossomed for you. You may be feeling an urge to complete or end something that started around that time too.
Remember: Full Moons bring everything to a head so it’s also a good idea to let it out, take a work out class if you need to, draw something, scream, dance, laugh, cry, scream… Capricorn teaches us to take responsibility for our emotions.
Full Moon can bring shadow energy to the surface.
The shadow side of Cancer (where the Sun is in) may be about becoming overly emotional, sensitive or retreating from the world when you feel hurt. Use the Capricorn pragmatic energy to be direct and detached and express yourself where need be.
Happening at 3° of Capricorn, this Full Moon is ruled by Saturn, who is currently retrograding through Aquarius (also co-ruled by Saturn.) Saturn invites us to set boundaries, use wisdom we have learned and to take accountability for ourselves. Look at the past 6 months and reflect on where you have applied hard work and discipline. It’s the growth for us!
You may feel certain responsibilities and senses of duty highlighted for you under this Full Moon. What are the responsibilities and obligations that seem to be weighing you down? On the other hand, what are the structures and systems that are giving you a sense of safety and support? For example, paying your bills feels good and provides you with things (houses, cars, cell phones) that support you. However, taking on responsibility for ALL your family’s feelings is not a good use of the sense of duty and honor.
Trust what is being shown to you right now.
This moon is also sextile Jupiter which brings in expansion and reward for the hard work you have been doing from the past 6 months. You can expect to feel a renewed cheerfulness and harmony in your work and family lives. Someone in your family life may be able to assist you in your professional devours so get out of your comfort zone and ask for help!
A Capricorn Full Moon encourages us to build something significant and to own that celestial success is our birthright. We are coming out of a tumultuous eclipse season that may have shaken up a lot for you and cleared out some old energy but now is the time to CREATE. You can make this transition a transformation- it’s time to move forward with the wisdom we gained.
But before we move forward, we must clarify where we’ve been, reflect and integrate what we learned.
To that point, make this Full Moon a sacred moment for ritual to review.
